Town of Thurston, New York

Town Board

The Town of Thurston provides various services to its residents including general government support and road maintenance on 53.88 miles of town roads. All of the town’s expenses incurred in providing these services are accounted for in the two operating funds, the general fund and highway fund.

The Town Board meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and these meetings are open to the public. The public is encouraged to attend and anyone wishing to speak is given an opportunity to do so at the beginning of each meeting. In the interest of time and because there is further business to attend to at each meeting, participants are generally limited to five minutes to present their comments or requests. The Town board requests that all attendees be respectful of all others attending the the meeting.
